A step-by-step guide to managing your recurring donations
ColoradoGives.org was designed to make it easy to support the causes that matter to you, and one of the easiest and most important ways donors can support charities on our platform is making a recurring donation. Recurring donations help charitable organizations keep their programs running throughout the year and provide sustaining support for their operations.
Overview of Recurring Donations
Recurring donations are set into motion when checking out on ColoradoGives.org. To set up a recurring donation, simply find the page you to which you’d like to donate monthly and click the “Donate” button.
On the screen where you choose the amount of your donation, you can also choose to donate that amount monthly by selecting the “Monthly donation” option.
ColoradoGives.org will charge your credit card or bank account for the amount you choose on the same day each month (you can change the donation date on your user account). Please note it is not possible to make recurring donations with ColoradoGives.org Giving Card or with External Payment Methods (i.e., investment retirement account (IRA), donor-advised fund (DAF), or wired funds). You will receive an email notification before your donation is processed, as well as a receipt for your donation after it has been processed. Please note, your email receipt will not label your donation as a recurring donation.
Updating a Recurring Donation
You can update a recurring donation on ColoradoGives.org at any time. You will have the ability to update your donation amount, renewal date, and credit card information.
To update your recurring donation, log into your ColoradoGives.org account and click on your name from the site menu underneath your name on the navigation bar.
When you’re on your profile, toggle to the “Your Contributions” tab.
All of your recurring donations will be listed under "Recurring Donations" at the bottom of the page.
Select 
to edit your recurring donation.
Once you have updated your recurring donation, select "Confirm."
Canceling a Recurring Donation
You can also cancel a recurring donation on ColoradoGives.org at any time.
Click 
to cancel your recurring donation.
