Importing Offline Donations
If you are importing offline donations, we support list importing via a CSV (comma separated value) file. We recommend using a spreadsheet program like Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets to create and edit your import file. You can download a sample file to get started.
Here are a few tips to help you with importing your file:
- All fields headings listed in row 1 of the sample CSV file must remain intact and unaltered. Changing these columns headings will cause your import to fail.
- Fields in the table below are marked if required. Any non-required field can be left blank and will not remove or change any existing offline donations.
- The imported file must match and conform to the requirements stated below in the field list.
Donor Visibility: All offline donations will be imported with the donor name and amount publicly hidden unless specifically marked otherwise in the import file.

In this example you may enter the whole URL or just the last part (e.g. 'My-Fundraiser') , referred to as the URN. Acceptable campaigns include any fundraiser connected to your organization as well as teams or events where your organization is the only cause or is serving as the general fund. If providing the URL of a fundraiser page and that fundraiser is also connected to a team/event, the offline donation will automatically be linked to the team/event and counted if allowed by the team/event organizer.
|Anonymous||No (Default Yes)||Possible values are "N" for No or "Y" for Yes. By default an offline donation will be marked as Anonymous unless explicitly stated in this column as "N". If anonymous the donor's name will not be publicly visible on any donor timelines. However, you will still be able to access the donor's information along with the fundraiser or team/event administrator if applicable. If you prefer full anonymity, you may omit the email address and simply enter "Anonymous" for the first name. However, your number of unique donor metrics will not be as accurate.|
|Hide Amount||No (Default Yes)||Possible values are "N" for No or "Y" for Yes. By default an offline donation amount will be hidden unless explicitly stated in this column as "N". Use this feature to allow you to recognize a donor publicly without revealing how much they gave.|
