Overview
To use ColoradoGives.org's Slack Integration, you must have an active ColoradoGives.org's Advanced subscription.
If you have connected your Slack account while subscribed to Advanced, but later end your subscription to Advanced, data from ColoradoGives.org will no longer be updated in your Slack account.
Set Up
To connect your Slack account with ColoradoGives.org, visit your organization's ColoradoGives.org page while logged in as an org administrator. From there, select the “Integrations” section on the dashboard and then click on “Slack.”
On the Slack page for your organization, if you are subscribed to ColoradoGives.org's Advanced, you will see a button that says "Connect."
Clicking this button will take you to the login and Slack authorization flow. From here, you will enter the username and password for the Slack account you are connecting. Once you are logged in, you will be asked what Slack Channel you would like posts to be added to:
When you have added the channel, select Allow.
If your account has been successfully connected, you will be returned to your organization's Slack settings.
When your integration is successfully set up, you will receive a slack notification within the channel you selected the next time you receive a donation.
