On the old website (migration in 2022), you were able to set up multiple accounts using the same email address. For example:
- You could have a donor account under firstname.lastname@example.org; where Beth Smith was listed as the name on the account.
- You could also have a nonprofit account associated to email@example.com; where you have Bethany Smith listed as the name on the account.
On the new website (migration in 2022), email addresses need to be unique across accounts. That means firstname.lastname@example.org can only have 1 account. When we migrated account information over, we used the name that was listed on your donor account.
It is super easy to make a change. Simply, log in to your account, click on Account Settings, and edit your name using the pencil icons. You can even personalize it further by adding a picture.
